什么是串扰（cross-talk）?

最近看到外文cross-talk，查字典是串扰，经常碰到串扰分析，请问是什么 意思？ [s:123]

[s:109] 个人认为cross talk译成串扰好像是不怎么贴切，不过应该怎么译我想只有听那些大牛的了。
我得理解是cross talk应该是指一种交叉的相互作用。

based on the research pasted years , DNA methylation is depepended on the histone methylation, however, histon methylation is also affected by the DNA methylation, therefore there is a cross talk between the DNA methylation and histone methylation
