Spin-plate cleanup and concentration
This step is performed to remove excess salt. The desaltng is done by using minicolumns of gel exclusion matrix contained in the wells of special tha have semipermealble membranes.The gel matrix can be either Sephadex G-50(from Pharmacia, cross-linked dextran)or BioGel P60(from BioRad ,Polyacrylamide).
