Excellent customer and shipping service from the seller and the book itself is a fantastic textbook in the GI pathology.

Summary: A must-have for all pathology residents and practicing pathologists
Rating: 5
Everything you need to know about gastrointestinal pathology is in this book and it's really complete. Every entity is discussed from the most common to the rarest ones and accompanied by representative pictures. The differential diagnosis is well discussed and in this regards, lots of tables have been added from the previous edition. You just can't go wrong with this book as a pathology resident, gastrointestinal fellow or practicing pathologist. The fact that you can access the text, references and images online is awesome!

Summary: Comprehensive Compendium of GI Pathology
Rating: 5
The second (and much updated) edition of this volume is one of the best GI pathology books available. It's a nearly complete reference guide for all gastrointestinal pathology topics, including tubal gut, liver and pancreatico-biliary tree, all in one convenient volume. Each entity is thoroughly discussed, with numerous accompanying images that complement the text and clearly illustrate the relevant pathology. One of the best features of this edition is the online version, which provides easy access to the book from any computer at any location at any time. It's an invaluable resource for a fellow in training or for anyone needing to learn GI pathology.

Summary: Well-written masterpiece
Rating: 5
This all-in-one textbook of GI pathology is one of the best textbook in the field. There is very few (if not none) textbooks combining GI, pancreas and liver into one volumne. The authors, however, presented with a comprehensive review on the surgical pathology of the three organs and the informations are quite updated. The review on GERD, IBD, neuroendocrine tumors are some of the well-written summary on the current status of the diseases.
This should be useful book for revision by those who are going to sit for exit examinations. It is also useful for practising pathologist in their daily work.

Summary: poorly organized with small photographs
Rating: 2
I would personally not recommend this textbook for the following reasons: The chapters are organized in a confusing way with chapters organized not based on organ but on disease type. Certain chapters are certainly better than others with the liver, pancreas and extrabiliary tract being particulary better than those covering the small and large intestine. The photographs are in certain cases adequate and in others are too small and hard to interpret. Overall, I would not buy this book given the high price but may consider using it as an ancillary text
